Removing chewing gum.
OK so you know what happens, kids always love chewing on gum and where do they put it when they have finished –ANYWHERE.
Well the first thing to do is scrape as much as you can off with a knife then either use ice cubes if it is on the carpet to harden the gum or if it is on a piece of clothing pop it into a bag and put it in the freezer for an hour.
Once the gum has hardened it will easily break up and come away.
If you still have any staining left use a little white vinegar but always test on a little fabric first.
