Growing Tomatoes In Containers

Lettuce can be grown to be small as can carrots and the taste is at it's best when small too! Radish are extremely fast growing so you will get a crop very fast!

Herbs On The Windowsill

This is a quick and easy way to begin your own little garden and will provide you with fresh herbs over the summer months. Many herbs such as parsley, basil and mint can easily be grown in a container on a windowsill. These will be perfect to add a little extra taste into your cooking! You can often buy special packs that have some small pots and herb seeds that can be used to grow herbs on a windowsill.

There are a number of other different vegetables that grow well in containers but these are the easiest to begin with. You don't even need to have a garden to begin growing your own vegetables as many plants can grow perfectly well in a small pot on the windowsill. It's well worth trying your hand at growing vegetables in containers as the rewards, the fun you'll have, the money you save and the taste of the fresh vegetables is well worth the effort.
